With the recent battle of the Storm King concluded, Twilight’s brush with death against him led her to consider passing along the things she’s learned across her journey to others in case she were to meet untimely demise. With the blessings from the Solar Kingdom and Lunar Republic, she was able to build the campus on the ever growing bordertown of Ponyville.
 
Initially the Princess of Friendship considered only residents from the two kingdoms for the experimental approach, but at the suggestion of the two leaders, they made formal invitations for other, newly allied races to attend. There would be no reason to bar them from this knowledge, especially if would deepen the relations of creatures that would often misunderstand each other.
 
The Changelings were the among the first to be approached since the newly appointed King, Thorax, was close friends with the Warriors after their travels. Ocellus was volunteered to be the representative for her creatures. Her skills as a Freelancer pale in comparison to the Master Mime King Thorax, but she can maintain any disguise and can assume some level of proficiency with magicks and weapons.  
She is one of the more dedicated students when it came to studies. Her grades are top of the class, and her classmates often turn to her for studying. The Changeling fell behind in the physical courses as her undisguised, true self has a thin and slightly frail build, so her grades were just shy of perfect (much to her disdain).
 
Ocellus was able to adjust quickly to her new way of life in the ever growing Ponyville from the School of Friendship’s dorms. Her life in the changeling hives has always been a crowded one, even after the changelings reformed. Sharing her room with only other roommates seems like a blessing she never would be able to experience, and is often mentioned in her letters home. She spends a lot of time in the gardening and floral parts of town, so its not unlikely she’ll be spending time in the park or flower shops. Even though Changelings are allies with Ponies recently, some are still wary of their presence, so when traveling through town alone, she’ll take the form of an unassuming Earth Pony. WHile disguised, she’s somehow even more skittish than her true form. Her friends joke it’s because she’s paranoid about being dishonest with the townsfolk.
 
Since her lessons are taught from the warriors themselves, inevitably some combat training will be included. The Changling’s knowledge helps her keep an edge over her usually physically superior opponents. When she transforms, she can become something that is as strong as she needs tit to be, but can only do magicks if that form has the capacity to do so.Ladybird Hairclip - A hairclip designed with a red bug with black spots. Can amplify her natural changeling magicks to a small degree. It was given to her by King Thorax, but he didn’t tell her it about its magickal properties.
 
Freelancer’s Garb - Underneath her school uniform is Ocellus’ Freelancer gear. Its a brown set of clothes that can be worn under more clothes or on their own as a jumpsuit like clothing set. She wears clothes over it regardless because its form fitting, and despite being able to change her figure at any given point in time, she is quite shy of what her garb would show.
