There’s even a theme in their, as in the mares, cutie marks.

Sugar and Pear’s cutie marks are products that require cooking and processing to be done. A cup cake and a jar of jam.

Mac and Bright’s cutie marks are obviously bifurcated apples with a star theme, if you count the moments when Mac’s cutie mark included stars.
