Also, the “you’re bland, non-Dorky Twilight” anon is a different number. Different person. Different anon. EBF3 vs 4187/Eyeswirl. Though, to be fair, 4187 did say that EBF3’s post is “accurate.” So I guess fair inclusion on your part.
 

 
None of Anygrybrony’s posts in this comment section have had any substance at all. I mean, maybe 4187’s accusal of his being “just a blind fanboy” is off, but it’s not like there is anything to dismiss_ beyond empty vitriol. If, as you’ve now done, Angrybrony had offered anything at all resembling a counterpoint and/or their own point, then disregarding him would perhaps be as bad. As it is, no it isn’t.

I’m pretty sure I’ve done others too that I cannot find, the Search tool for one’s blogs is inefficient and I don’t feel like looking through 15 pages of blogs to find all the ones where I discuss Sunset.
 
This person chose to begin their postings by saying of Sunset “You’re quite bland, your personality is that you’re Princess Twilight without her dorky quirks, and your biggest defining feature being that you were evil and had to redeem yourself.” They later stated “Sunset’s only bright moments come from magic helping her out and dumb luck.” They then very passive-aggressively insulted Angrybrony by accusing them of being unwilling to learn or change their opinions because their posting history proves they’re a blind fanboy. This kind of behavior is just as bad as the behavior he was accusing Angrybrony of, he’s presuming he is a blind fanboy who will not listen to them and pre-emptively dismisses his opinions and his willingness to engage in conversation.
 
One is entitled to their opinion, but opinions can be wrong. If I expressed the opinion “Twilight has had no character growth since she became an alicorn”, that would be a wrong opinion. And the above opinions expressed are such things. Sunset has never been characterized in a way that could be simplified as “Twilight without her dorky quirks”, her evil past and reformation haven’t really been important to her role in the Equestria Girls series since Friendship Games, and she has shown multiple times an ability to reach out to others and reason with them, going all the way back to Rainbow Rocks where she talked the group down from their argument.
 
There are indeed discussions to be had on Sunset’s character, including holes in her backstory, motivation, and especially her plans, during her days as a villain; the ambiguous timeframe of the four films caused some inconsistent characterization weighing down her Character Development; the possibility of her being a Mary Sue, and more. However, this person’s behavior here gave no indication to me that they had any interest in an open-minded conversation discussing Sunset in good faith, so I saw no reason to attempt the same.

That doesn’t contradict what I said. I didn’t say, “you broke the rules, you should be punished.” It does seem like pretty gray area to tread cautiously though. I’ve seen several comment sections where someone ended up banned so caution does seem like good advice to give.
 
Perhaps I should have been more clear that I was advising such caution, rather than attempting to backseat moderate?

It is completely valid to post as anon if you do not want your Derpibooru profile associated with your FiMfiction account, but want to talk about what you have posted on FiMfiction.  
They are not required to maintain anonymity, what’s disallowed is abusing it to appear as multiple people specifically; they can even post not as-anon as long as they make it clear that they are the anon as well in doing so.

I just want to start this off that if you intend to identify yourself, you shouldn’t be posting as anon. It is, for example, against Derpibooru rules to post as both anon and logged in within the same forum/comment section, as it’s taken as sock-puppeting.
 
We’re also not supposed to attempt to discern who you really are. Even if you’re here declaring yourself to be Eyeswirl the Weirded, you could be someone else just claiming to be him, and we’re honestly not allowed to try to figure out if you’re lying or telling the truth. That’s the problem with anon. You are responsible for maintaining your anonymity while using it, as we’re expected to respect it.

That said, I agree with 4187. You really don’t have anything. He has posted something. You can agree with what he posted or not, but your choice to claim it doesn’t exist simply means you’re blatantly lying and you look bad for it.

False. I for one happen to like it when people actually take the time to make their arguments, regardless of whether I agree or disagree with them. People do, in fact, read lengthy blog posts like this.
 
I also don’t agree with most of what is in Eyeswirl’s blog. I’m finding it riddled with errors and limited-focus/tunnel vision points. But it is far better than the behavior that you and Angrybrony are demonstrating. Where “I disagree with you, I hate you, shut up, don’t have your opinion” is far, far worse in the fandom than his “I have an opinion, and here it is for you all to read.”
 
Between the three of you, it seems like 4187 and/or Eyeswirl are ahead in that at least a recognizeable opinion has been expressed. The two of you, Drakey and Angrybrony, are indeed the worst sort in the fandom and are clearly demonstrating that you are closed-minded, and would not change your mind even if someone did make compelling arguments. You have no compelling arguments of your own to show why you disagree with the contents of the blog, and seem to celebrate your unwillingness to even listen/read those you disagree with.
 
You’re welcome to your opinions, but the way you’re conducting yourself is the problem in the fandom.
