The alleged leaks go that Sombra will be revived by Grogar (the goat), because there was a Grogar in G1 who was falsely rumored to be a necromancer to exaggerate how hardcore G1 was compared to other cartoons or G2 or G3 (though I think Tirek and Lavan’s deaths would have sufficed to illustrate that point). Hasbro and DHX must be making that G1 fanon a G4 canon. G1 Grogar was the second most popular G1 villain after Tirek.
 
Except, the only leaks I heard particularly described were part of the script mentioning Sombra’s spell (which Twilight cast in an episode where he never appeared nor was mentioned), and a character sheet saying he’d return, and if that’s all it is, it could just be a flashback.
 
Because if Grogar can revive Sombra, how come he didn’t do this while imprisoned in Tartarus and get him to release him? Sombra would easily be able to kill Cerberus, so why would Grogar need Cozy Glow and Tirek to help him escape? Also how can those two get out of their cages?
 
I’d like to think those rumors are fake, but a gut feeling tells me I’ll lose one of the most powerful and satisfying moments the show gave me (Sombra’s spectacular death, showing villains CAN die in this show)

I have not, this isn’t a screen shot, it says speculation, also I’ve taken a few steps to at least be blind to major things, minus a few small things I’ve looked up simply cause I haven’t had much of a chance to follow up with anything passed Yakkity Sax’s initial airing OCONUS.
