“Warriors of the Wind” is only worth watching if you need a MST3k-esque laugh. It’s a miracle Miyazaki-sama was ever willing to work with a gaijin company again after that travesty.

wish I could spoil it for you, ‘cause I watched the movie first, and there’s one single difference that would’ve made me go running to read the manga right away if someone told me it.

oh yeah, you might have also watched the heavily edited version with cut scenes and stuff shuffled around. that’d explain why it seemed unstructured and all over the place.

even the uncut anime glosses over a ton of stuff though, and changes the story for plot convenience, and dumbs it down a lot. the manga’s way better.

I had remembered glimpses of this movie from when my parents watched it when I was probably 5 or 6. I watched it again a few weeks ago and man was it unstructured, all over the place, and down right hokey.
