- Jazzy Apple is the first and only genetic offspring of Tender Taps and Apple Bloom. Although Apple Bloom was diagnosed as infertile, Diamond Tiara agreed to be a surrogate mother for her friend. After a successful transference and implantation, Diamond Tiara gave birth to Jazzy; and was made her Godmother soon after. (And for those who don’t know, no, just because Diamond Tiara gives birth to her, doesn’t mean she’s related to her. Diamond was just the carrier, the egg that was fertilized and became Jazzy was still Apple Bloom’s egg cell just transferred into Diamond’s uterus. And I had to say “successfully” and with a little magic, because in real life, surrogacy doesn’t always work - so the “magic” helped ensure it’s success)
- Jazzy is a free spirited filly; And takes after her father in means of loving to perform. She was in love with the stage and the attention at an early age, giving herself the stage name “Jazz-A” during her play performances in the backyard. Unlike her parents, she is more interested in singing than dancing.
- Jazzy idolizes Coloratura; And dreams to be just like her when she grows up. She likes hanging out with Celestine and creating stage costumes for her to try on. Although her designs arent the best yet, Jazzy has faith that Celeste will make beautiful outfits just like her grandmother Rarity someday, and she wants Celeste to be her personal designer someday.
- Despite her desire for the spotlight, she has a kind heart and will do anything to help another pony if she can.
- Jazzy gets along very well with her older siblings, Finch and Wren, despite not being genetically related in any way. She never saw them as her adopted older siblings, she only saw them as brother and sister. Although Finch is usually the one to step in and defend Jazzy and Wren in times of trouble, Jazzy has had to stand up against many bullies herself to defend her brother and sister; teasing them about not being Jazzy’s REAL brother/sister. Jazzy would set them straight without hesitation.
