At least I no longer suffer from the heat as badly as I used when I was young; every summer, I’d have almost daily nosebleeds due to simply being too hot.
 
Always freaked my teachers the hell out when I’d blood would suddenly start running all down my face and drip on my desk! xD (My parents worried about it as well, but thankfully it gradually stopped as I entered my teens).

It’s not so bad now, but the worst day we had was a couple of weeks ago (mid-July 2019 for future reference), it was 39ºC in London and about 60% humidity. The boss actually allowed us to close the office early due to on the basis of health and safety! xD

It’c obvious that Equestrian physics don’t work like ours.

Step 1: Engage magical tidal locking.  
Step 2: Watch as temperatures plummet on night side and skyrocket on day side.  
Step 3: Witness life becomes impossible everywhere but the twilight zone.  
Step 4: Imbalance of temperatures results in vicious storms and winds circling the planet.  
Step 5: End result is nopony witnesses night anyway - they’re either in the twilight zone or all dead.  
Step 6: Oh, shit! There goes the planet!

Really, NMM didn’t have a chance to do much of anything, whether right or wrong.  
She just showed up as a manifestation of Luna’s envy, she got angry, shouted a bit and you fought Celestia and lost, resulting in a millennium-long banishment to the moon.  
I don’t know what she did then, but I assume that what she could do to the citizens of Equestria at the time were very limited at best.  
Then when she came back, she made a grand entrance, ran off to the old castle in the Everfree, played some mind games with a ragtag group of ‘friends’, and got turned back into Woona.

Jealousy is the last trait I would want in a leader of an entire nation. There is real meaning in ‘with great power comes great responsibility’, because actions taken by someone in such an important (in fact the second-most important) role can have devastatingly underestimated results that was never the intention. But ignorance causes suffering.
