What if My Little Pony had its own video game adaptation, should the Nintendo Wii console still be in usage?

I could get behind this.
I remember everybody liking it, especially my family, and being the only one who hated it, but hating it so much!
That could be one of them
Not everybody, there’s plenty of Wii & Nintendo haters out there.
In fact, being bullied for liking Nintendo’s “kiddy” games kinda turned me off the Playstation systems.
I do have poor motor skills. But, they were a lot worse back in the days of the Wii. And it was so unaccomodating for people like me, and I hated it all because everyone else just loved it.
Well, some games you don’t need to aim it. (Like say New Super Mario) Sounds like you have poor motor skills, no offense. I’m kinda the opposite, I find it easier to point the remote then say, trying to input numerous random control stick directions in generic fighting/sports/FPS games.
Edited
I could never aim it. My arms got tired within minutes, and after that I always failed to aim it. So, I either dropped it, or it shook all over the screen. I had to learn how to only aim when I really needed to, and it was so much unnecessary effort for a simple game.
I dunno I enjoyed WiiSports, and such, but I understand.
Interestingly, the Wii-remote button scheme actually works pretty good for Virtual Console games, especially on WiiU. Especially, some SNES & GBA games. (Provided you use the custom button feature to fix the layout.)
@Binkyt11
True, but the Switch is also unfortunately abandoning some of the good things about the WiiU many seem to not notice
Like non-gaming aps, (like Netflix) the internet browser, Miiverse, Virtual Console, free internet, WiiU video Chat, and such.
Even some scrapped WiiU features like TVii were kinda cool.
Only thing the Switch does that’s cool, is be both a portable, or TV system. In a way the WiiU was kinda an experiment for that.
Still, the Switch doesn’t seem as portable as a 3DS to me, (as it’s a bit bigger, and clumbsier, with it’s detachable pieces) and not many people want to take it to work, and such sense it’s so expensive.
Edited
Well at least the Big N learned from it. The Switch looks to improve a lot of the WuuWuu’s flaws, and Nintendo seemed to be much more open to 3rd party developers.
I always hated the Wii remote. It made me switch from Nintendo games to Sony games. I have less dexterity than most people, and it was literally work to play on that console. I only did so for games that I truly loved. I would gladly have picked the Gamepad over the Wii remote any day, and still would.
I like the WiiU too. In fact, honestly I prefer it over Switch.
@Zaknel
Not always. You could play Mario Kart, SSB, Virtual Console games, and others with other controllers without the Pad even being on if you want.
@Zaknel
It cost the same as a Switch, and rival consoles were more expensive then WiiU, so pricing wasn’t the problem.
@Binkyt11
I agree, developers didn’t seem to see much potential in it. (Some like the creator of Minecraft mocked the Game Pad.)
I find it odd gamers & developers hated the controller so much as honestly, it was more like a normal controller then the Wii-remote was, but the built in camera & microphone would’ve been ideal for some games, and the touchscreen could’ve been used to port PC games to WiiU. I think developers are getting too close minded.
Like I said, it was mostly improperly used.
I remember I finally just got so sick of alternating between looking at the screen and the Gamepad that I just switched it to always be on the Gamepad. And it worked out great!
At times it was that or didn’t use it to its full potential
Either way it was usually improperly used.
Didn’t it force use of the Gamepad for anything that was multiplayer?
And of it were a little friendlier to 3rd parties too. I can’t remember many 3rd party games for it, let alone any exclusives.
Maybe, if it wasn’t so expensive, it would have taken off better.
Pretty much. Though it did have a bit of a turning point for Nintendo. They did try breaking new ground and dipped their toes into new genres of gaming.
