Not quite a story update, but this may fill up Delta’s story gap during her 30s til I get to tell more about it eventually
Actually, I’m on the other side of the fence when it comes to PCP. I’ve never encountered it in a liquid form, only ever seen it snorted. Probably for the best though, as I’m scared to death of needles.
As for the others, yeah, ket and vicodin are both usually powdered pills, crushed with whatever means the person doing them chooses (I’ve got a tiny mortar and pestle that I used to use for my own). The process isn’t too dissimilar from making flour.
Oh, and before I forget xD . Same high school dingus that snorted the salt also snorted a packet of pepper right after. It was around the time he started sneezing that one of the teachers asked what was going on and suspended his ass. I’m sure he had a great time explaining the whole mess to his parents.
“Sorry Mom, sorry Dad, I got kicked out of school for a week for simulating a coke-head using table spices. I’ll just go to my room now and ground myself.”

The first two thinks you mentioned seems like sharp things. Salt is crytalline and hard, crushed vicodin also seems sharp, can’t imagine you can make a fine powder out of it.
Angel dust… PCP is usually added in liquid form… snorting it sounds extreme.
Ketamine probably was also crushed tablets?
The crushed glass thing is mostly a myth. While it did and still does happen sometimes (much like adding other odorless powders, it’s done to get more out of dealing without spending all of your coke), snorting literally anything can cause a nosebleed due to how sensitive the membranes in the human nose are.
I’ll give you some examples:
In general, I like to think of it as nature’s fun little way of saying, “Quit putting shit up your nose, people. Stop that!”
that “white” looked like snot to me and she still looks like she got hit and was pissed and shocked at the same time. I know it’s about doing drugs but still, that’s not the first impression it leaves in people.
also, cocaine doesn’t cause nosebleeds. crushed glass that is added to it does it in order for it to be bsorbed faster into the organism.

You can see the white powder on her nose. And cocaine is known for causing nose bleeds. The reason she looks so intense is because she’s amped up on coke, not because she got hit.
Quite frankly, if someone tried to beat Delta she’d probably destroy them.

I don’t know what kind of answer you were expecting, but if it makes you feel better I don’t really like speed. I have anxiety issues that make me feel like my pulse is always too fast, so things that actually do make it amp up just make me uncomfortable.

What Redweasel said. One of the things that happens when you snort cocaine is a slight build-up of a mild acid in your sinuses, which often results in bleeding.
In fact, frequent cocaine use in the typical fashion (up da nose!) can result in epistaxis.
cocaine is highly irritating to the sinuses, causing frequent nosebleeds.
No, what I’m saying is whatever/whomever harmed her is about to get the daylights beat out of them.

You two are taking this way too seriously. I’m sure there’s a full story that’s going to be told by the comic, so why not just wait and read that as the pages are released, instead of arguing about the motivations of fictional characters?
If you are angry enough to hit anyone because of it, then that’s the problem and the fact that the hit one was a close person is neither something that makes it lighter nor is it something that condemns you further.
One could argue that those who are close to you can hurt you the most because they know just the right spots where to sting, but that’s not more condemning nor condescending, it’s just that someone took the opportunity that they shouldn’t take.
I am not demonizing Jet. I think he is a good person at heart, but he is capable of really bad things, like making sure she gets pregnant when she told him she wants to leave him. Where was his goodness and love when he did that? Why do you think that someone capable of such a thing is not capable of hitting someone when pushed to the brink?
And I’m not defending Delta here. She’s autodestructive and she’s poison in a very pretty jar. You can think that if you will take small doses you will adapt and get immunity to the poison, but truth is it will still be a lot of pain and you will probably overdose soon. I’m not defending her, I’m just seeing the bigger picture. And yes, this picture is not about her being met with domestic violence, be it one time or constant, it’s her being said autodestructive. Then again, I just shared my own view on it before I saw the tags here, because on the tumblr, such tags weren’t present, at least when I first saw this picture. My view is also askewed because I live in a country where domestic violence is more common than drug abuse of any sorts so my mind jumped to that conclusion.
Saying that I am trying to side with Delta here and demonizing Jet is assinine and itself is jumping to conclusions. If any, I tried to understand them both… and in my mind both of them don’t deserve defending.
Where did you see me defending her? Where do I protect her just because she’s female? Where do I demonize Jet?
Also, that’s a very shallow understanding on how anger and being pushed to the brink works.
Again, read the comics and show me where it he is shown to be less than decent. I’m sick of people rushing to Delta’s defence everytime she’s an asshole just because she’s female, and is more than willing to demonize Jet to fulfil that desire.

Didn’t know there was some Fic, I thought that Shino based this character on his own ideas.
I wonder why is it so appaling to you that a good person like Jet (who he isn’t really that good) is able to do bad things.
Also don’t get it why people still call it abuse like if I implied it was constant. People get into fights, people hurt eachother from time to time. I don’t believe that Jet is a person capable of abuse, but I think he is capable of losing his cool and hitting her. Just like she is able and well equipped to push him to that.

I’m going base on the fic that’s the focus of this series (it’s name I can’t remember). And here’s the thing: throughout the story, we only seen Delta be aggressive and hateful, where Jet has only been seen as wanting to help. Even with no background, the comics give us info that implies that Jet is either the more stable one or wants to make up for his mistakes/what he did to her, while Delta is bitter and became self-destructive. I’m sorry, but to me, what you’re saying is an ass pull.

Yet this exists, which means something happened and she blames Jet. Sorry but Something did cause the crossing of rubicon between them and since there is absolutely no information about Delta and Jet right after Apogee came into play, when I saw a bloodied, shocked and angry person I jumped to conclusion that she was hit, and it caused the bloodying. And since in real domestic fights it’s often not the case that the punch ends the argument (and Delta’s story is a realistic one in the end) Her expression was self explanatory to me.
Don’t blame me for not knowing the story, if the story isn’t there yet even.
Dude, Delta left Apogee as an infant and forced Jet to raise her on his own while they were at university. She had plenty of time to rebuild her life, yet she choose to remain in the hole, while Jet succeeded while raising Apogee, and has offered Delta a way out of her hole at times. Jet isn’t what caused Delta to live in a junkyard, Delta is who’s keeping Delta in her hole.
