Why would we assume it’s futa? There’s no hint of a penis. There’s no hint of a strap-on, either.  
So based on what we’re able to see, wouldn’t this just be grinding?

I don’t know why but Luna being “Urban” fits her character. Maybe it’s because she’s loud.

I would agree if this were an Earth aristocracy of some sort. Thing is, this is a fantasy setting with magic and monsters, and Celestia and Luna seem to be more hands on…so to speak. In the comics they are regularly seen out an d about with Luna even making patrols and fighting nocturnal monsters. Celestia lives in the day and revels in her sun, so, a deep tan. Luna lives in her night and enjoys her moon and stars and other creatures and things of the night, so she sees little sun, hence, light skin. There’s just something about making their humanized forms have an inverse tone shift from their pony forms I like.

seriously that your attitude deserves a report, pity that I do not find a reason according to the regulation. You can not decide how an artist should do his art, do not be imbecile and insolent with them, if you do not like something just ignore it, surely that person expected real comments instead of idiots like you saying stupid things, the animation is incredibly fluent, the quality is amazing, the drawing style is excellent as very few, so many good things to talk about and your screaming for nonsense, go and draw something yourself and do not bother.

pretty sure if he made luna white there’d just be people arguing the inverse.

If he didn’t want draw he would’ve just not drawn anything.

I do not think the artist will make drawings related to mlp again to avoid comments that are not related to his ability to draw or animate.

Yes I do. This background pony is obviously linking a character’s depiction to what he/she calls “tradition” and feels that the characters should reflect this racist system, like if it somehow makes sense.  
Pale skin was a status symbol, but it shouldn’t be. Also he/she said “they didnt have to go out and work the field like plebs” obviously referring to those with darker skin as plebs.  
He using a racial depiction of people as a defense for an absurd concept. Without even saying “well in the past dark skin people have been looked at as inferior so we should have all drawn characters of royalty reflect this” he/she is clearly saying it. Passive racism.  
Many people of darker skin tones have been king and queens. He/she needs to pick up a history book and burn his white hood and robe.

I like the idea that Luna is Indian cause I picture her in a Sari, like dark blue with stars on. And then Celestia is like white European cause I picture her wearing like a toga in white and lavender with a golden sun broach holding it together.

I believe both Celestia and Luna should be pale because traditionally, pale skin was a status symbol (meaning they didnt have to go out and work the field like plebs) and royalty should be palest of them all. Therefore, Vinyl should be blacked in this picture and Luna should be pale.

Personally I always liked Luna with pale skin because she lives in the night and can’t catch a good tan, but Celestia has a deep tan because she’s always out in her sunlight. Still, this is really hot!

Totally ignoring whatever the hell is going on in the comments, personally I think Luna should be extremely pale-skinned. Dark skin tones are a genetic result of sunnier climates, and since Luna is princess of the night, it wouldn’t really make sense for her to have a skin tone that related to her having a lot of exposure to the sun. Besides, moonlight is always described as being “pale.”
 
I still think the picture is excellent either way. Luna is a cute.
 
Humanized ponies are okay, but everyone always gets into arguments about race for them, which kinda ruins it.
