The intense race came to an end as the last couple of Pegasus flew past the end line with Bloodmoon in the back, he made It past the line, trying to catch his breath as his lungs felt as if they were on fire, he chocked for a moment, coughing and looked up with his dazy vision, seeing all the other winners celebrating with family and friends while being given their medals. Blood gave an envious look and started to feel sick waiting for his mom to find him. His body was covered in bruises and cuts, he wasn’t used to these flying events and despised doing them, his bones aching. Maybe If he left fast enough he could have escaped in time but he saw the mare with flame hair approach him. His eyes flinched as he walked right up to him and began to lead him home, giving an unamused look. Once they got to their small house Blood tried to lead himself up the stairs before Lightning lost it, his eyes glaring at her adopted son. “You’re worthless, how could you lose another race, not even lose it, you were at the back! Do you think I’m supposed to be proud of that failure?!” her voice was venom to him as Blood cowered down, looking to the side while Lightning shouted her insults. He’d been used to this at this point, losing races and being yelled at.“How could you not fly faster? And when that colt flew into you, you spun like a useless leaf!” The memory popped into his head as Blood flattened his ears back, rubbing the bruises cause by that. He was surprised that his wings hadn’t been clipped like his mom’s. lighting had gained her scars and bruises from being so violent when flying and acted as though they were for victory. “How do you expect to get into the Wonderbolt academy if you can’t even win a fucking race!” She yelled at the helpless colt, her feathers had become filed up with her race and dragged her teeth against each other in frustration. Blood’s ears flicked when she mentioned so.“Maybe I don’t want to join them…” he sounded anxious, afraid to speak up to his mom from the last time he had. Lightning’s brows lightning more into the frown as she toward over him. “Why wouldn’t you! Only the most powerful Pegasus manage to get in, you should be happy I’m leading you to the dream!” She spat. Blood looked at her, his eyes watering.“It’s not my dream! Its yours! You’re only doing this because you failed to be accepted to be a wonderbolt, I don’t want to be one and you shouldn’t be forcing me!” he yelled, Blood’s frustration showing more. The mare stopped in shock before growling. “You don’t know anything about that brat! You should be trying to make up to me what you done, your good for nothing father left with you surrogate bitch of a mom and left me with a runt!” She’d crossed the line before Blood got up, about to be grabbed by lightning before he ran out the front door, dodging him and flying off. He’d most likely be found later by the guards, drinking.

Noone really seems interested in this boy so im highlighting more of his past and current life. He’s only now recently moved out against his mother’s wishes and gained a house for himself. This has been his life since he was a toddler, being treated as only a puppet or toy for his mom for her reputation which took a toll on him. He is quiet and aggressive to ponies who try to talk to him and is careful in trusting people often ignoring them. He quited flying, feeling worthless with them due to his non racing parents and avoids flying as much as he can, staying as though he is an earth pony. Even when they’re necessary he finds a way to avoid them which gives him looks from other locals.
