I think FIM is using how G1 teleporting worked: you need to see the location and be able to walk to it as you would normally.

A parent’s personality is also a huge part of how a child grows, so if Sandy doesn’t like their attitude, she can say no to them and wait for other parents who are nice to ask for adoption. TBH, I want Warden (or whatever the OC’s name is) to adopt Lightnig Blitz. He has good income, and he’ll let Scoots see the foal. Also, Sandy can choose between two parents looking to adopt the same child, and if anyone argues that she shouldn’t choose, the only logical pony to choose instead would be Scoots, and her choice would be obvious.
 
And I personally like how Sandy is portrayed here, making it obvious how much emotion is going through her, having the pony she promised to take care of as a dying wish go missing while she could die from injuries, and having the ones who pushed that pony to that point accuse you of being at fault cannot be good for her emotions. It’s not realistic, but I think it’s more of a metaphor, as opposed to her real appearance. It also gives me story ideas, as if I don’t have enough.

And throughout this exchange, Jet Set was the adult in the room.

FINALLY. REVENGE IS SWEET.

Yeah teleportation has always been wonky. One episode it’s only done when Twilight is calm, and others (S01E04) show her teleporting like it was nothing at all.

Could of really done without the lawyer line, also since when do Ponies grow fangs when angry. On the other hand I do like the wardon.

To be fair, teleportation has been kind of inconsistent within the series.

Oh, and teleporting two unicorns over several miles? Seems legit.

Now to hope they find Scoots soon.
