Well, I don’t like spoilers, but doesn’t we get this season a rival team for the Wonderbolts? The one Scootaloo will admire (much to Rainbows dismay)? I wonder if we’ll see Lightning or Wind Rider in the background. Maybe not as part of the team, but more as background pony reference.
 
I would like to to see Dusty as a member of the Washouts.  
Maybe their methods are so reckless and ruthless that she is disgusted and wants to get out.  
Then Dashie may be able to reconcile with her and win her over to return to the Wonderbolts.  
Dashie and Dusty just belong into the same team.
 
Beside of that, I don’t think we’ll see the Return of Suri Polomare. Yes, she was a likeable antagonist, but not so strong to be really a recurring villian. I would love to see her in the comics, because some of them has a darker tone and that would be needed to make her more vicious. More like Cruella de Vil. For the show she was only a throw-away character to give Coco her moment of shine. Sadly but true. IMO. :-)
 
I wouldn´t count Suri out yet, Garble got several appearances, too.  
I also think that redemption for her is difficult but possible.  
It could work if she and Rarity somehow ended in a situation where they had to trust each other and reluctantly work together while slowly reconciling and lerning more about her past.  
If she doesn´t return I will use this story as my headcanon.
