still think that just because there’s already 1 version of ‘emo fluttershy’ doesn’t mean there can be a second. interpreting it as goth is fine too though so it doesn’t really matter, but this is just for tag distinction.

since when did this distinction actually need making? it’s not like flut isn’t a masochist, so u CAN’T just say she can’t be emo in that getup :^) and more importantly, why/who would care if flut was seen as either emo/goth if it’s fake characterization of a cartoon horse? labels are a social construct, man. they aren’t important in this situation, cuz u can show that pink and black hair flut to someone and they wouldn’t be able to guess she’s emo unless they had prior knowledge to the creator’s intentions… so why care?

I’m glad a consensus was found; I was getting tired of having to make sure all three tags were present. There was a reason I wasn’t adding emo on its own.

Or you could just stay as Fluttershy and then that way no one would have to tell the difference between the two attitudes/lifestyles. They appear the same to non-goths and non-emos.

Emoshy has black streaks in her hair while fluttergoth has none.

Thank you. It was getting annoying erasing the emoshy tags and putting it the proper fluttergoth ones.  
I’m no sociology or psych major and even I know the difference between goths and emos.

I know starting drama is against the rules and I hate seeing complainers, trust me on this…
 
But honestly? Being emo is terrible. They harm themselves not just physically and emotionally, always trying to put others down on their level. They’re dangerous to be around health wise.
 
It’s an unhealthy way to live, even most psychiatrists wouldn’t advise maintaining.
