I’m sorry, but this is why I don’t like the idea of creating the colors of the offspring by mixing the parents coloration together. Both Braeburn and Derpy have a bit of a colorful look to them, even if the latter is primarily gray. The result, however, is that the offspring have colors that are so close, you have to look a while to notice the difference between them, and that are kind of dull and less interesting. Especially if you consider Braeburn is an apple, which means that there are a variety of colors available.
 
Both Muffin and Treat are cute, but I think they would look a lot better if they had some brighter color to them.
