I misread the comic entirely.
But you just explained why Starlight has it wrong and should have said “me”.
She has it right. She and Trixie are object nouns in that sentence. “I” is only correct when it’s the subject pronoun, not always. The easy way to check is to remove the other name. In this case running it through the test produces “…jogging with I”.
