I’m glade they’re at least acknowledging what happened to Trixie instead of just being “Nah, Trixie’s just being a douche for the sake of it.”. If I’m really lucky maybe this will factor into at least an understanding between her and the other ponies.

I mean first it’s all like “A wild bear appeared because of these two kids. Let’s blame Trixie and keep all of her stuff”. And then it’s like “Haha hey Trixie, remember that time you were nearly killed by a giant bear? YOU’RE SUCH A WUSS!”

Yes i know. I still think they read at least one or too. But it is hard to not notice the general opinion about Trixie and the fandom storyline for her.  
Lets just hope they wont mess her up…

The writers don’t really read fanfics at all. There are just so many fanfics out there that it’s quite likely that similarities arise.

Why did they have to use Ponyville scenery for this clip? I know there may be other small towns in Equestria with similar architecture, but wouldn’t it look better if they used some stock Manehattan background or one of those frontier ones?

They aren’t supposed to read fanfics. Also it’s not like it’s that hard to imagine the Ursa Minor incident ruining Trixie’s life.

Two years is a long time. And while I won’t paint her as a helpless woobie, Trixie IS exactly the kind of person to downplay what they’ve been through. I want to slap her and hug her, what she’s doing is wrong but in her sad, rage-addled mind maybe she thinks going back and destroying Twilight’s life will magically fix hers.

I thought it was established this wasn’t Ponyville? Trixie traveled to other towns, but the Ursa Minor incident traveled faster than her and left her as a joke to deface.
