It’s just a style difference. I think both are cute. Adventure Ponies was supposed to have an Atari arcade style to it, so I think the left sprite fits more for it. Both I claim are done by “actual artists” who knew what they were doing when they both drew them and can be used for different purposes.

Thread Starter - Artists you miss.

Granted, I would love if the second one was how it actually appeared, but clearly it’s an intentional reference to the really old Atari graphics.

It makes me think of the difference between the original Lemmings animation and the one we actually got in the game. The first one is really stiff and static. The one on the right is much more flowing.

Well, admitting you have a problem is the first step to fixing it, so that’s good I guess.

I don’t think you really understand how the drawing process works.
What separates people who can’t draw from those who can is the desire to draw and the willpower not to keep working even when you’re having difficulty.

I have no problems with how the sprites look in Adventure Ponies. Probably because I realize they’re supposed to look like the simplistic and crude sprites from Atari and not from the NES or beyond.
