Well Sunset did show them pictures of them hanging out on her phone but they just assumed that they were altered. Still they should have had pictures on their own phones. Plus they know the pony Twilight she could have explained things to the mane 6. Wall flower didn’t erase their memories of her after all. Plus we would finally get some interaction between the Twilights.

here were many inconsistencies in this special, for example:  
Who defeated Midnight Sparkle?  
And what happened to the picture that Rarity took? (I doubt very much, that Wallflower has grabbed that photo, the stone only affects the mind, not the technology) and other things more …
 
But on the other hand, it is a special nothing more, to have used more logic the episode would only have lasted 10 minutes.

I’m very confused about the friendship games one. How does everyone think Midnight was defeated if they don’t remember Sunset? Do they think she just calmed down or something? People should notice there’s gaps in their memories.
