You can see the heavy detail put into the headdress, but the face is left simple and elegant, without much detail.

I believe the simpler face here is an intentional choice on the part of the artist, in order to better imitate the style of Chinese/Japanese brush paintings, and draw more attention to the headdress and accessories. That is not an excuse that I just gave; that is an explanation. I want everyone to understand the difference. An excuse would be borne out of laziness; I don’t believe this was.
same thing with this, the character seems to be made so lazy and all the attention and work were put on the headset, it just makes it look weird to me whenever the artist does this stuff
