A maze is a awful localization, it’s kinda of hard to have people come to you if they have to follow map. And considering Iron Will seems like a good businessman I bet he would have had his presentation somewhere else if he had the chance.
Also, how do we know that they MADE him do it in the maze? How do we know he didn’t choose to do it himself?
no one cares. Canon can fuck right off references making light/fun of tropes and/or cliches/origins of mythology.
Think it like this:
If iron will giving assertive lessons in a maze is ok, then a BLM giving lessons of knitting in a cotton field should be cool
