Totally was. I liked it and hope it continues as a separate entity. They got story telling down very good. Just you got a handful of people who complain about it, so we never see updates of it. :(
One of my favorite episodes to date. It cuts deep and shows true depth. A lot of people here seem to automatically think the show’s characters are the same as the characters in the Adorkable universe… they aren’t. Good pull up.
As for the people talking about the military coup one, remember, that wasn’t part of the story line. They said so a couple times in their posts, it was just to test something different. So we can stop calling that canon. It wasn’t.
She might if she could activate Rainbow Power but unfortunately one can not active Rainbow Power without the others. Hope they didn’t steal her party cannon.

And again, this Pinkie isn’t “all there.” It’s easy to believe that she was too caught up in her act to realize that she was getting mugged until it was too late.
@Vaidelot
true… but then they all got kidnapped offscreen in a later episode, that’s all 6 of them. which would require stealth and an army of changelings wouldn’t exactly be stealthy.
it’s a bit of a contradiction of the effect of the scenes they wanted to have. ACW, they wanted an intensely silly fight scene, TWaBA, they wanted them gone to get on with the synopsis, like they usually did with Luna and Celestia before them. Oh yeah and then there’s Luna and Celestia constantly getting kidnapped or incapacitated just about anything you could think of.
@Vaidelot
yeah. That’s what the real world is like. Being a hero doesn’t make you an online game avatar, rolling in epics and legendaries, being able to fend off swathes of enemies and bad guys.
>One of the legendary heroes defending Equestria from epic-scale threats
>Mugged in the dark corner by a bunch of ordinary thugs
Kinda pathetic, you know…
@Jarkes
I don’t think it’ll be that happy of an ending, but it’ll be a little bitter sweet.
@Josedx9
no more than the world would seem to hate those people. At least, I’ve never seen what you said, not to mention that the show almost always portrays Pinkie Pie as that for the exception of the times where she’s made useful, sometimes they do it good, sometimes they mess it up badly.
but this is a sudden dark turn, that is something I had seen with this artist.
I wonder, the author hates Pinkie? I like this series that it does, but I’m depressed to see how it put pinkie in this way and like a fool or a nuisance.
OH GOD PINK-…your holding a cup arn’t you.
Where’s Cuphead?
I have never really seen Pinkie as a nuisance in the show, except in the episode where Fluttershy playback in a music band.

Adorkable History was pretty dark as well.

Rainbow Powers aren’t a thing outside of one finial and Luna’s dream.

well, I’ll wait until next page.

Still, she was able to fight changeling during the “Canterlot Wedding” just fine…
Well she didn’t get to be a hero because she could defend herself.

totally missed that one.
Thought we were talking about the royal wedding
I meant in this comic where the military organized a coup against the princesses to head off a potential war with the yaks.
