So this is a drawing I’ve made based on my favourite scene of My little Pony: The Movie, where Twilight Sparkle is captured by Tempest Shadow.
 
The process of the last drawings was underwhelming to me presonally, not because I didn’t like the suggestions from my patrons, but my holidays weren’t as satisfying as I wanted (mainly for personal reasons), so making a drawing based on a movie I love was a huge relief. The process was tedious (specially the first hours), but I had a lot of fun doing this. That, and also the fact I had to do much more homework than I expected to gain some time. But it was worth it, and that made the process of this drawing enjoyable.
 
Fun fact: I was making this with a pencil and then a friend said: “Hey, this is Equestria Girls!” Then I said: “No, I don’t like Equestria Girls! Why would I make a drawing about it?”. She made me a bit triggered, but in the fun way, we like picking on each other. Then my mother thought Tempest Shadow was a boy. xD
 
I’ve read in Derpibooru some thoughts about Tempest Shadow in the movie. Many people have some problems with her (specially her backstory which wasn’t enough for a solid emotional connection). I’ve even read someone who said the movie wasn’t good because of her. I can understand most of the complaints. I’m gonna sound strange, but to me Tempest Shadow is the well settled version of Starlight Glimmer. She’s a villain who redeems herself, yeah, but I don’t think her backstory was rushed because the writers took some time to show Tempest to us. In fact, she has a huge presence during the whole movie. She thinks friendship falied her unlike Twilight Sparkle. And, at the lowest point of the princess of friendship, Tempest Shadow is at her highest point. So from a dramatic point of view it makes sense making a villain as a contrast compared to Twilight. And she also has an unique art design that makes her different.
 
Like I said, I understand many people that had one or two probems with Tempest. But I still think she’s an amazing character, one of my favourite characters of the movie I would say.
 
I’d like to make more drawings based on the film. Some drawings would be simple recreations and some others would be comics with different lines.
 
Except Grubber. Grubber should have been in the movie.
 
I’ll make a drawing process where I’ll describe step by step what I’ve made.
