I’m pretty sure she’d count it as less revealing than a bikini, which is why she uses it. Although, according to the book she was swimming underwater for whatever reason, so that might not even be her “swimsuit”, more for diving. Maybe she has something closer to Rainbow Dash as well (it’s easier to envision for her than a bikini). Or maybe this is her only one. Who knows?

I’m one such person who’s not a fan of them, I even avert my eyes from them sometimes (though I do think “bare your midriff”, as Rainbow Dash does in Forgotten Friendship, is nothing but cute).
 
But it seems to be that, while people used to make a big deal about midriff shirts on TV (like in Winx Club), no one ever bats an eye at bikinis. We see them on magazines and posters almost any grocery store you go to, definitely at any swimming pool you go to on account of them being the most popular female swimsuit (female swim shorts like Rainbow Dash has are very rare). So, if they’re perfectly fine, shouldn’t stuff like Rainbow’s swimsuit be considered even more tame?
 
But, people are now liking Gazelle in Zootopia, and the only complaint I’ve heard about Rainbow Dash’s swimsuit is that the pink is too “girly” for her, so at LEAST that’s dying down.

And I’m all the happier for it.

Wetsuit. Unless it was actually for SCUBA? But unless you mean like a BCD vest there’s not really a SCUBA “suit” as a thing… Drysuits and wetsuits and BCDs, regs, tanks, flippers, goggles or full face masks but no “SCUBA suit” though I think wetsuits sometimes get called that anyways?

You still look hot in your scuba suit though!
