Nickname: Vi-vi, Viola
Background/Personality:
Princess Viola Noctre is the second child and the only daughter of Princess Luna. Viola is the result of an accidental pregnancy of Princess Luna from a member of her bat pony “herd”, and although her father is unknown, Princess Luna loves her daughter and publicly accepts the bat pony mare as her child and member of the royal family. Since her birth, Viola has been a lively and loud member of the royal family, freely roaming the castle halls, delightfully squealing at every new face and new experience, and making everyday special and full of adventure both for herself and those of her mother, brother, and babysitters. Although no one, not even Princess Luna, knows who her father actually is, Viola is widely accepted in the bat pony community both as a bat pony and a royal heir of Princess Luna herself. No one knows what is in store for the royal bat pony mare; however, the princess is still young, and will someday know of her true destiny among all ponies of Equestria.
Princess Viola Noctre seems to destroy the perceived stereotype of bat ponies in Equestria. While most ponies see bat ponies as scary nocturnal inferior creatures, Viola is a sweet, giggly, loud, and loveable bat pony that seems more pony than bat. Viola loves meeting and talking to new ponies and could gab all day long on the subject of glitter. Whenever Viola is in the room, every pony seems to smile since the princess’s toothy smile is so infectious.
Relationships:
Don’t ever ask Princess Viola Noctre to pick her favorite relative, because she never could: Viola loves her mother, brother, aunt, cousin, and every member of the bat night guard equally!
Being such a young princess and not a direct heir, Viola spends most of her time with babysitters who are usually female bat night guards. She especially loves teasing new guards by surprising the new recruits with glitter bombs.
Viola sees other royal family members as distant family: instead, she prefers her bat pony cousins over hanging out with her much older royal cousins.
