For what I have been observing all these “pre purchase platinum pack” thing is getting out of control, I seems like people only like games when they are being made and as soon as it launches they go look for another game to buy before release.
Well yeah, this is how almost every game on the App Store is nowadays. They all share the same “Get Out of Jail Free Card” in that the games themselves are free-to-play, and they warn you in advance when something costs real money. The pressure to buy things IS the entrance fee for these games. Retail $60 games ALREADY have an entrance fee, and therefore have no fucking business having microtransactions, not even for cosmetics.
At least they don’t charge you 60$ for unfinished game with free-to-play mechanics.
You know the funniest part about what you said is? It’s the part where you said “almost as bad as them”. Personally, I think they’re much much much much WORSE than them.
Seriously, Gameloft is almost as bad as them. At least they stick with free-to-pay mechanics… for now.
