That would be encoding software, for broadcast. They don’t render anything, but they do encode it for broadcast.

But even the Netflix, iTunes and the trailer Hasbro released for the specials has the same degraded yellow palette for Mirror Magic.

Shout admitted they screwed up the masters for the DVDs last I heard.
Could it be something to do with the compression?
Only explanation I can think of is either the broadcast sources rendering software have slightly differing settings from each other, or the colors are corrected intentionally to compensate for each regions different TV Factory standard
