In 40k it’s basically that only the best of the best can become an Astaries.
And that means that it’s all males, due to thing we humans have, which is males are better prepared for gaining muscle mass, fighting and stuff like that.

I guess it’s reversed there due to MLP world showing that females are the dominant ones.

Im still wondering how the mlp universe creates marines. Again males both human and stallion are still very close in adapting to aug while the other gender hasnt got it… I could be wrong on my sources
