Weirdly totalitarian, isn’t it?
Those closing sentences feel very jarring to at least this modern British audience. I’m normally a bit of a Majesty defender despite my boringly lefty better nature, but… when the narrator chimes in too and tries to get the young’uns cheering? Alright lads. Pitchfork time.
