-Twilight does not engage Tirek until he destroys the Golden Oaks Library.
-Her friends here are interchangeable with literally any other pony and even inanimate artifacts.
-Give Tirek motives beyond destroying Equestria and he is a much better villain.
-Without pony magic to control its forces of nature, Equestria will devolve into an uninhabitable disaster area.
-Everyone can recite the lyrics to Winter Wrap Up and This Day Aria, but not You’ll Play Your Part or Let The Rainbow Remind You.
-The episodes are so dark that the target audience of 6-year-olds feels like an afterthought. Robbie Rotten even hid this two-parter behind his curtain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2gnWxRd9qA Don’t let your kids watch it, indeed.
-Tirek’s second-to-last form is very badly proportioned.
-If Celestia had sent the Mane 6 instead of Discord while Tirek was still weak, the episode would be over much faster. One of them could also shut Tirek up when he tries to manipulate Discord into handing him all of Equestria’s magic, like how Darth Vader does here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPVdxi-2-cI
-Having a good guy who can stop everything with a snap of his finger is a boring detriment to good storytelling.
-Tirek is so overpowered, the Deus ex Machina of Rainbow Power is literally the only reason why FiM has a fifth season.
-If Tirek escaped back in It’s About Time, this implies that he just stood there and did nothing for two whole seasons.
Meme by Mr. Enter
yes but how the main 6 weren’t sidelined in those episodes even half as bad as they were in this one. minus the Applejack one that is. Rarity takes Manehatten, It ain’t easy being breezie, Rainbow falls and Pinkie Pride all have the others playing a fairly big part. Twilight in both Breezie and Rainbow, and The rest in both Pinkie Pride and Manehatten. Literally Twilights Kingdom had them do something that no one knew they were even doing. The only character that needed to be there was Discord. I don’t hate this episode but I just find flaws with it. Rarity takes manehatten has everyone doing something that directly involves the plot. The main 5 in Kingdom could have almost been written out. Twilight could have confronted Tirek before he made it to ponyville if the town wasn’t evacuated. Then Tirek could hold the entire town hostage. I feel like they didn’t do the best job setting up the rainbow power either. Like the Breezie episode was just there and Rainbow Falls was kinda there too. …At least we got Cheerleader Twilight though. Again I don’t hate the episode, I just feel it is where the main 5 start to lose their edge in the finale and openers.
Everyone who criticizes twilight’s kingdom for sidelining the mane six always seems to forget that each of them had an entire episode dedicated to finding their keys.
I do not want to see another instant-win button, and the Mane 6 NEED to use their powers when appropriate to save trouble.
Fair enough.
So? You can’t blame a creator for how others use their creation. Do you blame Lauren Faust for the worst parts of the fandom?
That may be so but didn’t he create this template that they used?
Don’t blame Mr. enter, this guy doesn’t even watch him.
That’s not how you spell the best night ever.
Explain.
I’d consider a proper Star Wars or Power Rangers episode a good adventure story. With no idiot plot.

@Mega PoNEO
I’ll admit to being curious as to what you consider a good MLP adventure story.
That’s not how you spell The Cutie Re-Mark
You do not speak for everyone.

Why? This is his favorite episode.

Mr. Enter praised this episode to the point he passive-aggressively insulted those that had a problem with the episode in his review.
But yeah, this meme he made and his overly sensitive fans can get rather annoying.
I can’t believe I used to like his content.
I stopped caring about Enter tbh cuz he just came off as whiny more and more.
But, now, I don’t really care about any of the analysis community.
Oh yeah, i remember that bullcrap.
Spent the first minute or so of the video talking about how much he hated the ‘negativity’.
And complained about the majority of the analysis community.
This victimizing doesn’t increase tension; rather it makes a Deus ex Machina more obvious.
While I agree with the first one so was everyone else, it isn’t fair to just call one person an idiot when no one else objected to the plan. Tirek being the giant power house and scarring things I don’t really understand though, he was made to scare the kids and when your whole reason to be in Equestria is to drain all the power then, surprise surprise, you tend to get insanely powerful when you feed off of an entire country of magical horses.
But uh… For the image itself let’s see… 2/10, not interesting enough to rouse anger or any other emotion.
If I remember correctly, he called it a perfect episode.
