Fandom Is Stronger Than YouHaters gonna hate, man. Anyone who wants to start yelling at people who are into these two fandoms, for crying out loud, has completely ignored the most basic messages of both.
Amedot is back.

…Well, rather, Amedot is bust. Last time I checked, at least. But there’s always the memories of the hype for it, as well as the fanart.
Okay then.
It started when she was trying to push LapiDot hard in SU, which earned her the ire of more than a few fans, causing her to delete her twitter account. I don’t fully know the details in-between, but she eventually had a fight with Sugar and was laid off from the show shortly after. And then shortly after, a certain private tumblr was discovered and it was apparently filled with much complaining and nasty grumbling about stuff that matched very well with Zuke’s situation before and up until the drama storm was going on.
That’s how I understood it. Last I heard, Zuke later admitted on her (public) tumblr to not have liked SU–or at least working on it–and only really cared about pushing Lapidot.
I always liked Amedot better anyway.

also, tex, this picture is really nice and we need more like it. not to stir up drama from 2014 for no reason like some people here, but because we should encourage people to enjoy more than one show at the same time.
Personally, I’m fine with whoever identifying as whatever, but the fact that she identifies as non-binary is bound to piss some people off, though I’m not one of them.
You know that non-binary isn’t something Tumblr made up, right?

The members of the crew on SU that are feminists are the kind that still know what the being one is really meant to be.
Remember, FiM was developed by Lauren Faust, a feminists.
The BP is talkming shit, just like this fandom there is a bad and good part of that fandom, and the SU crew even called out some of the toxic fans over an incident even.
Really though you are just an embarassing hypocrite to call the Steven fandom toxic knowing full well you come from another SJW toxic fandom. We’re in the same boat. Don’t pretend “No this place is nice!” like that’s somehow different, cause ask any Steven fan and they’ll use those exact same words too. Yes, this place is nice, but so is theres.
But Steven Universe is a far better show. It treats the audience with more respect and tackles deeper issues without letting itself be censored. MLP however struggles to slip hints in that most will miss anyway. Subjects like abusive relationships and death, or heck just relationships in general get portrayed in Steven so damn well. And so poorly in MLP. You might even say “MLP never had a death episode” which just shows how bad they handled it. Steven also had a better story structure and amazing continuity, something MLP has not been so perfect about. If an MLP episode was made by the Steven Crewniverse, that would be amazing. But MLP has been getting better and getting more story focused lately. Steven… Hasn’t been getting better cause it’s STILL ON HIATUS. That’s one thing you can complain about to your heart’s content.
