She has it doubly rough. The neck thing tends to scare the shit out of ponies, and she’s really socially awkward and would have a rough time getting a date even if she was a totally normal pony :P
 
New plan, on the advice of the books and Spike: Take it slow, relax, and be herself except for the neck thing. For now, at least XD

I really like the story arc you’ve managed with this character, @Badumsquish - hitting on Shiny and being sad coz he’s married, talking to Spike and asking for advice, and now she has a date although she’s not too sure about what to do - in all of three pictures.
 
Good work on the narrative. Hope to see more, especially her on a date with her stallionfriend.

This is going to be one interesting cross-species relationship.

She does. Normally she looks entirely indistinguishable from a pony (save for lacking a cutie mark) but her neck is prehensile and she can stretch it to insane lengths. Her body’s running to try and keep up but this move got her head to the library faster :P

She asked a guy out, following the advice in one of the books, and he accepted. Trouble is, she tends to do the neck thing when she’s nervous, and none of the books have advice on not doing the neck thing or how to save face if you do it accidentally XD
