even though this is a Snorks related comment but when i was a kid i always wanted to see that Vampire Snork, the Robot Twins and that Eskimo/Inuit Snork that they always showed in the intro but i eventually saw the Vampire and the Eskimo/Inuit Snork in their respective episodes a long time after I like stated watching the Snorks (i saw the reruns as a kid) but not the Robot Twins but their was a similar bunch of characters they encountered in one episode who were actually Bigweed and Lil’ Seaweed in disguise

I just don’t like the idea of reviewing movies using parodies instead of actual clips especially in his Jurassic World review when he was complaining about the CGI and showed us fucking toys.  
Most of the time they’re not even that nostalgic as there’s still in theatres

I basically feel the way about him, that you do about Sandler. So let’s just leave it at that. I don’t want a huge debate about it.
 
I will admit some of his older videos can be amusing, but I’m not a huge fan. His humor’s not my cup of tea.  
Plus, I tire of his fans copying his opinions as their own, and citing him as a legit source, or critique on things, even though as I pointed out he gets alot of things wrong sometimes, and sometimes exaggerates how bad something is for humor.

You have seen the newer episodes of the Nostalgia Critic, right? There’s a lot less shooting, more focus on reviewing the movie (especially when it’s a clipless review), and even has stories in the reviews. He adapted his style and humor with the times, the thing that Sandler hasn’t.

I feel Doug’s humor is really no better frankly, and much like Sandler, is quite repetitive himself. At least Sandler can do more then cuss, pretend to shoot things he dislikes, and such.
 
Not to mention, in his review of the “Super Mario Super Show” Doug got everything wrong about it. So he doesn’t always have the facts, or the absolute opinion.

I guess I just don’t care for “popular opinion,” and frankly the same could be said about every comedian who always does the same kinds of routines/movies/roles/ect. I even see ones that do the same things Sandler does, and they get nothing, but praise, and aren’t any better.
 
And honestly, I didn’t think “Pixels” was that bad. Definitely not his worse, and definitely not the worst video game movie out there. It was no epic award-winner, but I still found it entertaining, and I liked it’s homages to retro gaming. People just seem to hate on it, because they see everyone else is doing it. Just like they do other decent-but-not-amazing movies.
 
Heck, some critics think the MLP movie is bad, but I still see some enjoying it.

Doesn’t help that most of them seem to be misses these days, and the repetitive nature of his films do get on people’s nerve, to the point where Pixels gets worst reviews than his worst movies simply because it’s the same tired nature as them, and everyone else has moved on by now.

Eh, I think Adam Sandler gets more hate then he deserves. His stuff is hit or miss.
 
Plus frankly, Happy Gilmore & Billy Madison are still childhood favorites of mine.

i mean it’s kind of true, though, he’s not really a high-tier actor but i love seeing him in movies. he’s just… so fun. i believe he’s enjoying himself up there, and that makes me enjoy it too.

I remember him playing Maui well enough…
