Well, there is supposed to be a Hanazuki movie after three seasons.

When I watched MLP movie, it had Hanazuki short before it. Was that the case worldwide?
When I see videos with people spinning Fidget Spinners, it’s creepy for me. There’s trope in films where psycho killer have some tick: adding sugar to a cup until it overflows, or some other mundane action that’s becomes creepy when you do it again and again. A concept of a psycho talking to other people, while repeatedly spinning Fidget Spinner, harder and harder, until he snaps and start to kill people is something straight outta those films.

Yea, I’m sure that’s more what the show’s reference is. But fidget spinners themselves are (or at least were) an extension of people that need to do “something” if they are bored.
This just needs the fidget spinner edit because everyone loves fidget spinners :)
I think it’s more a reference to bored students spinning their pencils when they are bored.Used to see a lot of them in the schools i went too when i was younger
Fidget Spinners always make me think of the game pieces from Crossfire.
