Those things are not mutually exclusive. People can be both “honest” and “hostile”.
 
It’s much preferable to be “honest” and “civil” toward each other, but some people don’t know how to be honest without being hostile.

I remember her comments and the most “violent” one was she saying “the anathomy looks just wrong”  
Also have in mind for how long she has been trying to make tox improve his art and she isnt the only one, other artists who know him have been saying him to improve his art and to try to correct his anathomy, which tox usually repyies with either “lol i’ll fix it later” or “fuck off i do it how i want to do it :)”  
After time of trying to help him it gets boring and annoying to see how much of a bad artist he is, specially since he sells his stuff and having in mind he has been stuck in the idea of never listen to anyone in the fandom for 6 years now  
No, i have nothing against tox, infact i want him to be better but its hard if he doesnt help us to help him

Constructive criticism is an art, folks. It’s not what you say, but rather, how you say it.
 
If your delivery is so abrasive that the person’s targeting system registers you as an enemy, they will NOT listen to you.
 
You must first convince them that you’re being fair. A good way to do this is with a “compliment sandwich” (google it). Tell them of the good to motivate them, and tell them of the bad so they can improve. Just doing one or the other causes the artist to ignore you. If you only praise them, they’ll just feel good and move on. If you only criticize them, they will see you as a jerk, completely disregard everything you say because thinking of it reminds them of how angry your comment made them, and move on.
 
Telling them of the good and the bad makes them think “This person likes me and genuinely wants to see me improve,” and I can tell you from personal experience that that is far more motivating than a polarized comment could ever be.
 
Saturnstar’s comments are on a different level, though. They’re absolute harassment, and the language betrays an intent to hurt instead of help. They’re toxic, destructive, and angry, and that is unacceptable. I’m not a mod, but even I know an innately mean person when I see it.

i have to say that toxic has the easy ban on deviantart tho…

How is that a weak justification? Tbh its reasonable and understandable, i’ve seen her coments and she all is doing is trying to push you to improve your art, but of course all you do is take it as an attack and act like a massive baby

Mod-sama can you block the comments here (and possibly all tox’s comics)? This is never going to stop unless you do it, that or have a better control in what is said to avoid drama from happening again atleast with tox, because he keeps replying like a baby and people keep acting almost the same (but the only difference tbh is they are more defending because tox is a massive jerk, specially with saturn because he in more than one ocation has called her a “ crazy bitch”

I like the newer style. It’s not trying to directly copy the show, and the characters have some interesting horse muscles.
 
The anatomy is a bit weird, but some studying on horse musculature (and just good ol’ practice) will rectify that with time. Keep going, TM.
