You know, I have a theory about how these flash bees develop immunity against swamp fever (also known as Equine Infectious Anemia in the veterinarian community)

Somehow, those mellivores must evolved some sort of immune factors that protects them from the tiny midges living on the bacteria-infected pollen to counteract the EIA virus (small interference RNAs that bind against viral RNAs in the nucleus of their immune cells or fermenting stomach enzymes that digest the viral proteins, perhaps??)
