I say, it’s pretty hard to make such a nightmare look good. As I had to “take a guess”, I’m thinking his style is going for realistic horse so I corrected it along those lines.
Atleast Derpy might be able to stand now like a normal horse. There’s a reason why anthro horses have their ankles so low. If you were going for anthro with those legs, then Derpy couldn’t stand up bipedally like that. If you look at a horse’s anatomy or even Baron’s anatomy then you see a huge difference in his anthro legs and horse’s legs.

This shows you barely even know Saturn else you probably would know that she is in recent contact with pen stroke to ask about things concerning the fanfic when she wants to make sure she can properly convey it in the comic.
If you aren’t logged in on DeviantART, you can freely browse galleries and journals of people who blocked you. I won’t be giving you any specific critiques because I don’t have any business in it. I wouldn’t care at all about you if you didn’t bitch about Tox so much. Your obsession with anonymity is hilarious. Would that make any difference if you knew my name? Would that make it easier for you to attack me in journals? You don’t expect me to provide my real life name, do you? If so, imagine my name is ILovePowerRangersALot, if you need a name for everything :)

You know, seeing as you can read my journal on DA, I haven’t blocked you. You’re free to point out any “anatomical oddities”. If the critique is rightfully given I can see if I can fix it in future pictures. Of course, that would mean giving up your anonymity and you’re too scared to do that.
That’s silly. Critique, like art, should stand on it’s own merit. If you dismiss critisim just because the critic isn’t a master in whatever it is they’re critiquing then you’re going to end up shutting out a lot of valid critisim.
Now before you say it, yes, I do get the impression that Saturn may not be putting this up solely for critique and that there may be some malice here. However, even if that’s the case then the same logic should still apply. If you dismiss the critisim of your detractors then you’re going to end up shutting out valid criticism. It shouldn’t matter who is offering the critisim if it’s good critisim.
It’s like if I said 3*5=16 and then some dude who hates me and is bad at math told me it’s wrong, and then said that it’s actually 15. Now, in this case if I were to dismiss them off hand because they hate me, or because they’re bad at math, then I would be dismissing valid critisim. Mind you, art is different because oftentimes there is no absolute right awnser as to what should be done to improve a particular piece. There is no hard and fast right way to draw, but saying that it makes it impossible to critique would be ridiculous. In art critique is simply subjective.
That being said, this whole argument you are both having could have been solved swiftly and succinctly if you were both being adults about it. As I said before, it’s fine if you think the critique isn’t warranted or that the corrections made here don’t improve the piece, and it’s encouraged that you voice that opinion if that’s the case. At which point Saturn could have simply offered their own opinion with arguments based on the individual aspects of the piece and the critique to back it up. At which point any reasonable person could have chosen to either agree to disagree or talk about it in detail.
But no, you didn’t do that, neither of you did. You’re both acting like children here and it’s embarrassing to look at. If you read any of this and only take one bit of advice from me then I would say that you BOTH should quit arguing while you’re behind.
Sorry if that seems a bit stiff, it just wears on me seeing people do the “You can’t comment on X because you’re not perfect” thing all the time.

Again, I wouldn’t see an issue with an artist posting critique or correction of another artist’s work provided that the original artist doesn’t object and that it doesn’t evolve into a flame war into the comments, which is exactly what happened here unfortunately.
Do you even understand what the expression “not any more than” means?
I mean, I could come up with a decent list of things that you’ve done that could be interpreted as breaking a few rules if you really want, but I was honestly hoping you’d come to realize that this bizarre obsession you have with toxic is creepy and dumb on your own rather than through bannings.

The only thing, literally the only thing that I use any kind of base for is my comic and even then I have to draw all the panels by hand first. All the rest I DO draw from scratch. My other comic Equilibrium is drawn by hand. Now you’re just grasping for reasons to stir up drama and it’s truly pathetic and cowardly.

Sweetheart, you credit Pen Stroke for writing the story, not for puppets. But it doesn’t matter now. You admitted to things. I think it’s lazy you don’t wanna learn how to draw from scratch and you have to use bases but at least you’re honest now. Have a good night.
I credit Penstroke in my descriptions EVERY time, you idjit. And I just linked each puppet I use in that journal. Mintyroot himself doesn’t ask for credit in his descriptions, go and fucking look.

So you described tracing. That’s exactly what you do and you literally listed this in points. I have nothing to add. You admit that but somehow you don’t see anything wrong in it. You bitched about Tox tracing but how are you better than him? Because you admit to tracing here? Point for you but it’s still tracing and you still didn’t credit Pen Stroke or whoever in your comic description. I know why you don’t credit them. You don’t want people to think less of you. You know it’s something to be ashamed of. Why can’t you not trace? The baseline of those puppets is the most important thing of the picture. You trace the core.
Why does it matter how many people had a problem with your use of puppets or Patreon? Someone needs to be first. It doesn’t mean it’s fine because people didn’t notice it earlier.
tl;dr - If you think it’s OK to trace bases like you admit doing, and you are not ashamed of it then go write a big journal detailing everything and keep it seen on your main DA page (and at least lin it in the next comic you post). I dare you to tell your viewers, I double dare you. Show me what you’re made of. Prove me wrong.

Yes, it was primarily functioning as a why for people that love drama to go watch and make things worse. The “most commented” list (which was moved off the front page for a reason) is still used for that, mind, but less severe.
I agree with EOWDT, I’m not sure if F830 is reading at this point and is trying to get you riled up.
