Actually there would be a legal argument to be made that bestiality laws are in place because animals cannot consent, but ponies are clearly sentient here, so her consent could be treated as if she was human by the law. While I can’t say that all judges would agree and an argument could be made that the source of bestiality laws intended to use the Christian ideology that humans are unique and should only ever mate with their own kind, there isn’t really denying that ponies in MLP have free will, or at least as much free will as we do, and bestiality governs consent.
 
So yeah people who don’t understand can get pissy all they want, but I’m pretty confident about how this would end in an actual legal discussion.
