I just noticed (as of this post) there’s 1,952 images tagged “punk”. “Raripunk” accounts for over half of them at 1,096 (though there’s only 681 images with both tags. All raripunk images should be tagged punk too).

I was about to write one of those ironic “you big meanie how dare you” comments as a reply, but I thought I’d take the opportunity to ask WHY you think she’s the best.  
I’ve never really had any connection, or a thing, that made her interesting, but what made her click for you? Is it her design? Her personality? (Which I personally reeeally dislike for various reasons) Something else?

This season made me hate Rarity, but I gotta admit that this style looks better then her usual, in my opinion of course

Additionally, the pony version in of itself only works because of sheer perfection on the animator’s side. It’s on the edge of absolutely not working, but it does. Her mane style, her clothes, her coat, her tail, her eyes, her proportions, her horn, her lack of pants: everything just comes together perfectly and compliments the look. I just think the human version lacks some of the things the pony version does, causing the style to fall off the precipice and into mediocrity.

Eeeh… I can’t really say I care for that version much either. I’m not exactly a fan of the Equestria Girls character designs, that is true, but even so there’s something about that image that doesn’t really convince me. I dunno, if nothing else I’m dubious about how well that kind of skirt works with the specific punk look Rarity had in the episode. Jeans or something of the like seemed a more immediately obvious choice in my mind.
