It starts off at 400 health. With Tempest’s base attack power at 12 and a regeneration time of every 2 hours, that means it will take about 68 hours to take the Ursa down. Meanwhile, to earn the Tempest prize, you have to complete the fight within 3 days, or 72 hours.
In this match, her partners are Discord (normally 600 gems, and as of writing, on sale for 420 gems) and Daybreaker (1000 gems, or $30 in her bundle). Having just Discord (providing 12 attack power) will cut the time needed to bring the Ursa down in half, whereas having Daybreaker (providing 46 attack power) will make it a cakewalk.
You’ll notice that this is a very deliberate ploy to force you to spend gems.
Apparently “TEMPEST” grants another 20 gems.
Its true. My top 10 are russian and chinese. Update, Ive been sent behind. The 200, I dont think Ill be able to recover
It kinda depends on what servers you get grouped into. I’m basically in the middle of the USA and russian users tend to be at the top of my ranking boards.
Well, really any non American user is at the top on my boards. Since almost all of them are either foreign names or ones they put in themselves instead of having a random name assigned to you like in the US.
I didnt know that. I live in a Latin American country but travel fairly often. The last two events I spent the first days in a first world country and didnt notice any kind of change. Back home the competition has been harder. And I doubt many have the game or even speak the language.

Chances are that the first instance will get you Tempest early while the second chance will be replaced by like 10-30 gems as a sort of bonus for getting her early. Which, with how many gems you would need to spend to get to this point, is completely not worth it.
You can’t get 2.
But from what it sounds like, the bonus is only early access; and if you can’t beat it within a time limit, then focus on beating the Ursa.
Your primary goal is to beat the Ursa before the event ends, Time wise it’s going to be hard.
Now that being said. it’s a greedy phone game. So is the finale prize might be a second chance at Tempest, and the first chance might just be a ploy to get you to spend money.

Also what does the skip button do, is it just for the one attack?

I’m at 108 maps and 1399th place. The top ranked right now is at 1264 maps. In 4 hours I will have another 30 maps whenever that task completes and I get around to clicking on it.
If you didn’t know, your location greatly determines how effective your efforts are since it’s only around 5000 or so people per group ranking. You could be in a fairly light area/country without much heavy competition, while I’m in a group dominated by hackers and big spenders.
Without spending money I have 270ish star maps and am at place 132. Only with sweetie bell and apple bloom.
>already on the final part of the event
Ya, sure. That’s the one thing that will force people to buy gems. Despite you probably spending several to get to this point already. . . . .
I have mostly given up on this money grabbing event. You literally have to no life it or pay to even have a slight chance. Like with you little calculations there, you couldn’t sleep at all to be able to do that. And you have to check on it exactly every 2 hours or else you have a good chance of not having time.
I still do the event at my own pace between playing other games and working, but I know I won’t even come close to completing it. Just like the community event trash…. I’m at like 78 collected which puts me in over 1500th place. The top people have near 2000.
