My first thought was 'slimy, yet satisfying'
But then I not only watched Timon and Pumba cartoons a bunch, but grew up with a candy-selection that included Timon and Pumba-inspired gummy bugs.
So 'bugs=Timon and Pumba food, and also slimy yet satisfying' is kinda burnt into my head :P

This reminds me of the two-part Vice video on eating insects in China.

Sometimes I wonder how is it not gross eating crustaceans (lobsters, crabs, and shrimps) when they are similar or look similar to insects since they're both arthropods?
And the same time, we eat clams, oysters, octopus, and squid when they are mollusks just as garden snails.

Considering they're basically apex bugs, they'd eat lesser bugs. Or at least are omnivorous.
