It’s a bummer, but it’s probably not just his fault. Sega on Twitter said they want to take the series in a “different direction,” and announced not to long after the cancellation that IDW will be doing a new Sonic comic. Considering IDW’s other video game comics haven’t lasted anywhere near as long as Archie’s Sonic & MegaMan comics, I don’t have high hopes for it.
Funny thing is, before Sonic and Megaman, Archie used to make an officially licensed comic of Konami’s “The Adventures of Bayou Billy.”
