The image on the left is clearly a shit post I don’t get why it has so many down votes, people don’t have a sense of humor lol

Left is ironical, and people laugh with that; right is well made but its just boring cutesy.
Left is more heavy in message, direct and inderect message (even if its done in a shitty way); while right is just technique with a very simple message (just what is happening).
This applies too when The weaver post a funny thing and with his sketch-like style gets houndred of upvotes while other pics about a very well done and reallistic background normally barely gets less than 100 upvotes.
Remember that drawings is a form of art, and art born from the need to communicate something, the info in the message its what it matters the most, more than the technique.
 
I agree with this. Left is ugly but original, while right is cute but quite ordinary.  
Also, fixed a mistake.

The point is, before the change, the shitpost had a score of -180, much lower than the score of the other pic. Now shitposts have higher scores than old art, making real, valuable, art impossible to find.
