TBH there’s nothing wrong with this pic other than the fact that you put your name in it. If you’re going to self insert, make it subtle. There’s nothing wrong with human on pony as long as it’s not obviously the artists’ own fantasy. Fanfics with humans are great, as long as its not the author blatantly inserting himself into the story. Then it becomes cringy.

Can you circlejerk with just one person tho? I always make sure that the self insert is not too over the top, So anyone could look at the image and insert themselves in it if they want to (ignoring the dialogue)
