what i gather, the more she drained from shining the more suggestible he became, plus he had migraines so it had that effect
Depends on which one she’s trying to drain, if she’s trying to drain the abuser then nothing because there is no love to be found. If she’s draining the abused then I imagine it would taste like agony. There’s other kinds of love though that could have tastes

I was going to argue that, but then I remembered the part in issue 4 when Chrysalis talks about what will happen after she’s drains Twilight’s love. That raises a whole new series of questions, but this isn’t the thread for them.
That said, as far as we know Shining Armor wasn’t drained, just passively fed off. And it still seems pretty (semi-)grimdark to me.
Not necessarily, they could just mean ones they haven’t drained the love of yet, and such. After all draining Shining Armor’s love, and such didn’t kill him.

I’ve just seen tags like ‘grimdark’, ‘semi-grimdark’ and ‘grotesque’ being used too much just cause someone doesn’t like a picture.
