Music seems to be a trait belonging only to Equestrian-borne civilians or those that have close ties to their homeland, an Aeolian like the Storm King has nothing but his own egocentricity and his Unyielding malice towards destruction that is ingrained into all members of his species.
The Aeolians Faith is towards the spread of death and destruction: viewing it alone as beautiful and true, and it is a rite of passage for an Aeolian to annihilate the rest of their own kind before spreading to other lands, when The Storm King came to power, only three others had survived their self-inflicted Genocide and Genesis.

Pixel Perfection - I still call her Lightning Bolt
Solar Supporter - Fought against the New Lunar Republic rebellion on the side of the Solar Deity (April Fools 2023).

Calling it now
Storm king will get overthrown by the cloud creature and either get destroyed or join the other side and get reformed….. I’m going with reformed.

Not a pony and not female. Doesn’t look to good for him.

My guess is that the Shadow Creature is a comic-only character who gets destoryed in one of the stories and thus doesn’t make an appearance in the movie. Would also explain why Tempest is his second on commando during the movie and not Strife.

He must have a villain song about how good it feels being evil to go with his zaniness!

I’m not sold on Andy’s art or Ted’s writing for this. It feels like they’re trying their damnedest to portray Storm King as both a silly and threatening villain, but putting those hyper-detailed and intense drawings over the more simplistic background shots, characters, and actions, and peppering his speech with casual phrases like “Let’s hit it!” just make SK’s transition moments like this feel out of place. If this is the direction he’s going in for the movie, I’m hoping it will be much better executed.

I’d rather not. We already have no fewer than eight new characters to worry about in this story, and that’s just counting the celebrity guest stars.

I hope this’ll translate over into the movie, like they’re purposely hiding Strife as the main villain (since we haven’t seen any promotional stuff with him).
