I made this picture of how really angry Shining Armor was when he saw Flash Sentry had made Twilight cry and calling her annoying during the battle of the bands.

OK, I hate the FlashLight ship, and even I think this is stupid. And the artist seems to have forgotten the name of the franchise is My Little Pony.
 
Though overprotective armor is a clever tag.

What’s funnier is that everyone uses Flash making Twilight cry as an excuse to demonize him, and yet they give a free pass to not only Shining but also the rest of the mane six when they were under Discord’s control.
 
Further proof just how hypocritical and stupid Flash-hate is.

What’s funny is that I know a lot of viewers think Shining wasn’t affected until the moment he stood at the altar like a cabbage with a concussion. Never mind that she blatantly used her mind-magic on him to make him not wear something she didn’t like… And which he did end up wearing during the real wedding, after he was freed from her influence…

To be fair, Shining Armor, I’m not sure if that’s enough reason to call him that; but, you are Twilight’s older brother so you watch out for her safety as much as you please.
