Polish people have lots of national pride, and I found this particular display of that pride hilarious. Of course, as a person who prefers the English version, your displeasure is understandable.

Rainbow Dash imitating her friends wasn’t cringy. Neither were her parents. Virtually 99% of things people in this fandom “cringe” at don’t bother me in the slightest.

Subtitle industry? No, it was just a bunch of fans working hard to deliver you the subtitled version to the English speakers as soon as possible.
 
But the line you can see here is the actual one spoken in the Polish version, so perhaps there is a fan in the Polish dubbin industry… or it is just a generic line that some think it was inspired by some particular work. It’s like when some people sought an allusion in Twilight’s “It’s a trap” line in the season 5 premiere, when it was simply a normal thing to say in a situation like this.

So, what you’re saying is that someone in the Polish subtitle industry is a fan of Star Wars?
