I think my favorite description of Keijo is “Keijo does not feel like a real show. It feels like a parody of anime that you’d find some character watching within another show.”
And really, what makes it work so well is that despite the fact that the sport itself is ridiculous, all the characters treat it completely seriously. They act in exactly the way you’d expect shonen sports anime characters to act, all while competing in this crazy game without a shred of irony. It’s freaking genius.

Also mine, although “Buttack on Titan” was pretty hilarious too. Though really just about all of it was; it was an amazing parody of sports anime in general.

Incidentally, “Shoryucans” is my favorite attack name in the show.
