I would honestly say that’s better then being depressed all the damned time. If someone is truly an over optimistic, nice guy that always looks on the bright side…I cannot fault that. I’d rather be with a person like that then the polar opposite of that.
 
Also, to recognize as an asshole is at least being truthful about yourself. I’m not going to lie and say that I’m something when I’m not. It’s not honest. Seeing yourself for what you truly are helps you improve as a human being, in my opinion.
 
That’s also another thing, not taking risks or attempting new things is exactly the problem. You cannot grow as an artist without branching out, trying new things or developing new art styles. TM does not do that, he is very content with his level of skill as an artist. Which, admittedly, is annoying. It’s at the point where it could be good, even great, if only he would try to work a bit more at it.

……… That’s not relevant at all. To say that he isn’t trying to improve himself, that’s one thing, and it’s very relevant. That, however, isn’t at all. Anyway, the only explanation is that he’s content with this art style for some wicked reason, and frankly, that’s a problem, ‘cause this art style is just so…. boring. It was boring from the start, and now, he’s overusing it. Honestly, the only reason I’m still watching him is because of his comic ideas.
 
…… Which is what got us here, so let’s get back to that.

Anyway, to not give a shit about what someone thinks about you is one thing. To be an absolute fucking idiot that just smiles all day every day for no goddamn reason and say “Be happy!” when there’s a million reasons to NOT be and to keep up that positive attitude to the point you’re shitting and barfing rainbows, therefore giving the person in front of you cancer, is another thing.
 
I’ve had my share of people sprouting the ridiculous, cringy, heart-wrenching and sickening positive, overly optimistic attitude. They’re always the same: Nauseating. Now, being optimistic is fine, but at least be somewhat of a realist in life.
 
Anyway, back to Jarrod: It’s okay if he’s uncaring of what people think of him. But this shit, he literally brought it on himself. He literally asked for it. The fact that he did that comic and uploaded it, that’s literally asking for trouble. And then he goes to play the victim.

Yes, it can be. But that’s from the point to where Toxic really hasn’t tried to improve himself. He doesn’t take risks or attempt new things…maybe try for more detail, or go for some more surrealism? He just seems very content with “middle of the road”, which isn’t a good mentality to have as an artist.

Speaking as an asshole, I can respect that. For someone to not give a shit about what someone thinks about you, is nice. You make a decision, fine. At least you’re sticking by your decision and not taking down the art and “apologizing”. Outside of it just being hate art (which none of his work has been).
 
Also, speaking of the “shit eating grin”…there is a certain art to perfecting the perfect shit eating grin. It’s the grin that says “If I had an apple, I would be eating that apple right now just as smug as ever.”

i warned him more than once to NOT DO OR UPLOAD THIS COMIC since he alredy has a big number or persons who are mad at him, his reply was basically “MP i know and i dont care :), this fandom is fucking insane and im not doing anything wrong :D”  
foalcon or not from the perspective of a person who doesnt know they are teenagers will inmediatly think they are still fillies and saying “there is far worse in here” is not really an excuse, this is something he seek to happen and now he is complaining that things are backfiring hard by making himself play the role of the victim from a problem he provoked
